remind的用法归纳:
（1）作“提醒”讲
①remind sb. to do sth.
e. g. Please remind me to call him back.
请提醒我给他回电话。
He reminds me to attend the lecture in time this evening.
他提醒我今天晚上去听演讲。
②remind sb. of/about sth.
e. g. In case I forget, please remind me of it.
要是我忘了，请提醒我。
We must send a letter to remind them about it.
我们得去信提醒他们这件事。
③remind sb. that-clause
e. g. He remind me that I would answer the letter as early as possible.
他提醒我尽早回信。
May I remind you that time will soon be up?
请允许我提醒你，时间快到了。
④remind sb.
e. g. If my father forgets it, I hope you will remind him.
如果我父亲忘了的话，我希望你提醒他一下。

（2）作“使……想起”讲
①remind sb. of sth.
e. g. This photo reminds me of my childhood.
这张照片使我想起了我的童年。
The man reminds me of my father.
那人使我想起了我的父亲。
②remind sb. that-clause
e. g. That suddenly reminded her that she had promised to ring them up.
那突然使她想起说过要给他们打电话。
The sight of the watch reminded me that I was late.
一看到那表就想到我迟到了。

want的用法：
1． want sth.想要某物
2． want to do sth.想要做某事
3． want sb. to do sth.想要某人做某事
want sth.中的sth.一般是名词，如apple, pencil, book, money等

我想要点水。I want some water.
我想吃一个苹果。I want an apple.
我想要两本书。I want two books.

want to do sth.其中的do是动词原形，表达主语想要做的动作。
我想要喝点水。I want to drink some water.
我想要吃一个苹果。I want to eat an apple.
我想要两本书。I want to have two books.

want sb. to do. sth.其中的sb.是want的宾语，是主语想要这个宾语做某事。
我想让我妈妈喝点水。I want my mother to drink some water.
我想让你吃一个苹果。I want you to eat an apple.
我想让我的老师买两本书。I want my teacher to buy two books.

remind的用法：remind sb. of sth. ; remind sb. that … note: please remind me to do sth. …表示请提醒我……。 “remind”可以在后面直接接人或宾格，如“提醒我”译为“please remind me”。 如果提醒某人某事则用“remind somebody of something”，也可以在后面加从句，即“remind sb that”，“remind”还有一个意思为“使想起”同样用“remind…of…”的结构，应注意与提醒某事区分。 中国人想起屈原
