九年级英语语法问题！

我们老师改的是在live 前加个a?我觉得是listen吧，难道是listened，这是为什么.Though children are young ,they should be listened carefully.
这个我知道是be listened错了，应该是主动语态，但是我们老师改的是把be去掉？
