with the development ofsociety,more and more people delay marriage, why are young people delaying marriage solater than did previous generations, and perhaps even later than they themselves would prefer?
One reason isthe economic foundations that is very important to marriage.young adults believe that they must be completely financially independent to be ready for marriage, and they should finish their education before taking the big step.believe that their career should be underway first.
Another reason for delaying marriage is more personal, especially for women.Today women expect, and are expected, to become economically independent whether they hope to marry or not.the young are inclined to focus on marriage's potential for deep emotional and sexual connection. they expect to meet each other on a higher emotional plane.
I think these reasons arewhy to delay marriage.

The decline of responsibility is another contributing cause. A few years ago in China, Where families are allowed but one offspring, single children are after spoiled. So all the time, they are the kind of people who are loved and given, and they are used to be taken good care of, they even though don't know exactly how to look after people. Therefore, delay marriage is a good way to maintain current happy living conditions.
In a Word, pressure from work and family is a big shadow for young people. However, respect other people's ideas is a virtue after all. so I suggest that everyone has their own independent thinking we can not impose our own ideas on others.
