In the social activity 'Step in the community',my classmates took part in a discussion organized by the "Songtaoyuan Community" about whether the residents should keep pets like dogs and cats in the district or not.
Some students were against the idea of keeping pets in the district for that it may pollute the envoronment,especially the excrement and the urine made by the dogs and cats.Besides,dogs and cats may spread disease for they are always dirty and they may even attack people which may make the people bitten get some disease.
However,other students agree on keeping pets in the district.First of all,they thought that pets can acompany the elderly person of no family and make them feel happy at anytime.In addition,it will add some delight of life to the residents if get along well with the peets.
In my opinion,I think that to keep pets is necessary.Only by making the pets under control can we have fun from them,namely,we should help them form good habits like not allowing the pets to foul this area.I believe that we will make the community better with our efforts.

Are pets suitble for keeping in residential areas Last week we had a debate about whether it's suitable for keeping pets in residential areas, when we were having the "getthing conneted with neighbours". Just like every coin has two sides, we have many different opinions about this question. Some of us are against of it, because they consider the question as follow. First of all, they think raising pets will cause some environment pollution. Second raising pets will make it more likely for diseases transportation, and some pets may bite people which will be very dangerous. But some others think raising pets is a good idea. They think pets will comforte some lonly old people. And life will be much more interesting if we can keeping a good relationship with the cute little cats or dogs. However, I have my own idea. I think keeping pets is a thing, which we can surely benefit from it, we will be happy and feel less lonely. But for reaching this goal, we should make safety in the most important place.
