网上很容易搜到。此外还有鲁迅先生翻译的小约翰也很好。随风而来的玛丽阿姨是英文的原著，网上也很容易找到资料
先来一段小王子：
Once when I was six years old I saw a magnificent picture in a book, called True Stories from Nature, about the primeval forest. It was a picture of a boa constrictor in the act of swallowing an animal. Here is a copy of the drawing.

In the book it said: "Boa constrictors swallow their prey whole, without chewing it. After that they are not able to move, and they sleep through the six months that they need for digestion."

I pondered deeply, then, over the adventures of the jungle. And after some work with a colored pencil I succeeded in making my first drawing. My Drawing Number One. It looked like this:

I showed my masterpiece to the grown-ups, and asked them whether the drawing frightened them.

But they answered: "Frighten? Why should any one be frightened by a hat?"

My drawing was not a picture of a hat. It was a picture of a boa constrictor digesting an elephant. But since the grown-ups were not able to understand it, I made another drawing: I drew the inside of the boa constrictor, so that the grown-ups could see it clearly. They always need to have things explained. My Drawing Number Two looked like this:

The grown-ups' response, this time, was to advise me to lay aside my drawings of boa constrictors, whether from the inside or the outside, and devote myself instead to geography, history, arithmetic and grammar. That is why, at the age of six, I gave up what might have been a magnificent career as a painter. I had been disheartened by the failure of my Drawing Number One and my Drawing Number Two. Grown-ups never understand anything by themselves, and it is tiresome for children to be always and forever explaining things to them.

So then I chose another profession, and learned to pilot airplanes. I have flown a little over all parts of the world; and it is true that geography has been very useful to me. At a glance I can distinguish China from Arizona. If one gets lost in the night, such knowledge is valuable.

In the course of this life I have had a great many encounters with a great many people who have been concerned with matters of consequence. I have lived a great deal among grown-ups. I have seen them intimately, close at hand. And that hasn't much improved my opinion of them.

Whenever I met one of them who seemed to me at all clear-sighted, I tried the experiment of showing him my Drawing Number One, which I have always kept. I would try to find out, so, if this was a person of true understanding. But, whoever it was, he, or she, would always say:

"That is a hat."

Then I would never talk to that person about boa constrictors, or primeval forests, or stars. I would bring myself down to his level. I would talk to him about bridge, and golf, and politics, and neckties. And the grown-up would be greatly pleased to have met such a sensible man.
当我六岁的时候，有一次我在一本叙述有关原始森林名叫「往日真实故事集」
的书上看到一张美丽奇特的画。它上面画有一只蟒蛇在吞吃一只野兽。这里就是那
张画的复写。

那本书上说：「那些蟒蛇连一口都没有咀嚼，就把它们猎获的动物整个儿吞吃
掉，然后就一动也不动的长眠六个月，来消化肚子里的东西。」

那时候我对这类丛林中发生的奇怪事情想了又想，之后轮到我动手，我拿了一
只彩色铅笔完成了我生平第一张画。我的第一号画就像这样。

我把我的杰作拿给大人看，我问他们是不是我的画很可怕。

他们回答我说；「一顶帽子怎麼会很可怕？」

我画的并不是一顶帽子。它表示一只蟒蛇正在消化一只象。为了使大人暸解我
的意思我就把蟒蛇的内部也画出来。大人们经常需要很多的解释。我的第二号画就
像这样。

那些大人们劝我放下那些看得见内部或看不见内部的蟒蛇的画，而把兴趣转到
地理、历史、算术和文法上面。就这样，在六岁的时候，我放弃了画家的很好的事
业。我第一号和第二号的画没得到成功使我很灰心。大人们从来不会一下子暸解一
件事，而向他们一遍又一遍的说明，对孩子来说，是一件令人疲乏的事。

因此我不得不另外选择一项职业，而我学会了驾驶飞机。世界上的每个角落我
差不多都飞过了。不错，地理对我很有用。我只要睁眼一看，就可以分辨中国和亚
利桑那。当一个人在夜间迷失了路的时候，这会是很有用的。

就这样在我的一生中，我和一大堆严肃的人有了密切的往来。我在大人群中生
活了很久。我仔细的观察过他们。我对他们的意见并不因此而改变。

当我遇见一位看起来比较明理一点的大人时，我就将我经常保存著的第一号画
在他身上做试验。我想知道他是否真正有理解力。但他经常回答我：「这是一顶帽
子。」於是我就不再跟他谈蟒蛇，也不谈原始森林，也不跟他谈星星。我迁就他。
我跟他谈桥牌，谈高尔夫球，谈政治，谈领带。於是那位大人满意了，他高兴於能
认识这样一位识时务的人。
